Who is Jesus?
Many people accept Jesus differently... teacher, social reformer, prophet, God, etc. The Bible describes Jesus as God. Gospels mentions also as the Son of God who came to earth. The question is why you are considering Jesus? What's the purpose? You will get only what you seek. If you treat Jesus merely as a teacher, you will learn lots of truths and wisdom concerning life. If you seek Jesus only as a social reformer, then you will know the revolution He started in helping the poor and respecting women, children, the deprived, the sick, the widows and the orphans... ONLY IF ACCEPT JESUS AS THE GOD, WILL YOU FIND forgiveness of sins and the gift of ETERNAL LIFE, REAL LOVE, REAL JOY AND REAL PEACE, now and in future. Seek what is valuable and eternal. Remember that the temporal things will fail and fade. Choice is yours, now.
I belong to a differrnt religion. Why should I know Jesus?
Jesus is God incarnated. Jesus created everything. You and I belong to Him, whether we know it or not. But the most imortant thing is that living our lives knowing who my FATHER is! My knowledge of my great Father gives me meaning and purpose for my life. It gives me confidence and hope. Decide if you and I need Jesus or not! He owns everything and He can satisfy you and I in a way that we will never, by our efforts or others' efforts.
Does Jesus know my whereabouts since I belong to a different religious background?
Jesus is Creator God. He knows every minute details of the Universe and everything in it. Bible describes Jesus as All-knowing, All-powerful, and All-present. So knowing where you are, is nothing for Him. Bible says that He is always looking at each one of us. We JUST CANNOT DISAPPEAR FROM HIS SIGHT, no matter what religion you and I belong to. But if you know Jesus personally, then you will live totally happy, without any worry and meet lives challenges with ease. When I am a God's child, I am very happy to know that Jesus is watching over me...
Should I join any Christian community to get blessings from Jesus?
In order to receive any thing you have shake hand with the other person. But it is very important that you and I know Jesus personally. It is not necessay that you belong to a particular community. God is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS. He doesnot belong to any party or church or individual. God is above all and every thing. God gives everything FREELY to all.
Where is Jesus now?
Jesus is God. He is every where at the same time. A child said it like this, "My God is so big that He fills the Universe and so small that He lives in my heart."
What is eternal life according to Bible? As a person belongs to a different religion, am I eligible fror elernal life?
According to the Bible to know Jesus (and His purposes) it self is eternal life. It also says that if you receive Jesus into your heart by faith and a repentant heart, you have eternal life. Again it says, if you would love like Jesus, and obey His commandments, you have eternal life. Any body, from any religion can receive Jesus and receive eternal life. Eternal life also means a glorious life after our present life. The greatest thing is to have Him in you((r) being)).
From where will get a Bilble?
Bible is available in all Christian Book stalls and some secular book shops. It can be read on Internet - try google. Html and pdf files are available for free download. It is available on CDs.
Why should I be concerned about others as per Christianity?
God made us all. God loves everybody. Jesus wants us to be like Him - love all. Love here means to the point of our death. We all are one.
I see people praying loudly in Christian ministries. cant we pray silently?
Can you stop the fizz (bubbles) from a well shaken Coke bottle? When you give to a child a gift that (s)he likes very much , how do they express their joy? Just smile. I know they will jump around, shout, give kiss and so on. It is all a question of how much one has received from God. If I think that I haven't received anything I will be silent. And those who are very happy, you cannot make them silent. They will always burst forth. Then it is also one's choice. And you and I are free to express it in our OWN way. Life is about expression. Let us do it. Jesus did it.
